WOMEN'S INITIATIVE COMES ALIVE: West Bank project empowers key group

A year ago, JPB recognized a huge gap in Middle East peacebuilding. We learned that while multiple programs serve youth, established professionals and the elderly – few exist for university-educated Palestinian women, ages 24 – 36. Working together with two top Palestinian consultants. We have now designed an exceptional modular, three-year program entitled My Choice Women’s Leadership and Economic Empowerment Initiative. The interfaith program will empower twenty participants with the network, skills and experience to participate in the local economy and governance through internships, community-based projects, travel, lectures, and dialogues. Recruitment begins in February.
