One Mission, Two Organizations

In the Holy Lands and elsewhere, Jerusalem Peacebuilders relies upon its sister non-profit in Israel, JPB Leadership Development, to accomplish it mission. This can be confusing to donors and supporters. Here is a concise explanation:

Jerusalem Peacebuilders (JPB) and JPB Leadership Development (JPBLD) are two distinct interfaith, non- profit organizations with a common mission to create a better future for humanity across religions, cultures, and nationalities. Integral to that mission is the belief that the future of Jerusalem is the future of the world. To that end, JPB and JPBLD promote transformational, person-to-person encounters among the peoples of Jerusalem, Israel, Palestine, and the United States.

Essentially JPBLD functions like JPB’s affiliate in Jerusalem and Israel. JPB and JPBLD’s interfaith programs focus on uniting Jews, Christians, Muslims, Druze, and Alawi and providing them with the opportunities, relationships, and skills they need to become future leaders for peace. A passion for peace drives our mission and partnerships power our programs.
