A peacebuilder, educator, and trainer extraordinaire, Dr. Paula Green died on February 21 in her home surrounded by family and friends. Leveraging her background in psychology, Paula led multi-year peacebuilding interventions in dozens of the world's most intractable post-conflict areas. In 1995, she began teaching at the School for International Training in Brattleboro, VT. It was there that she befriended Jerusalem Peacebuilders. Her mentoring of JPB staff members soon led her to become a beloved trainer in JPB’s EXCEL teacher-training program for Israeli Arab and Jewish educators. Wise, courageous and compassionate, Paula will be missed by all who worked with her. The JPB staff is grateful for her example and friendship.
