EXCEL INSTITUTE RETURNS FOR 2019: Adult program in the UK focuses on developing teachers

​After the launch of our inaugural adult peacebuilding program in Summer 2016, the EXCEL Institute returns this summer with a new home and adapted focus. Organized in partnership with St. Catharine's College of the University of Cambridge, Oranim Academic College of Education, and Retorika for Multiculturalism, the program will bring together twenty Jewish and Arab teachers from Israel for an intensive training program. EXCEL's revised curriculum will combine its signature peacebuilding focus with English language training for implementation in the Israeli classroom. The institute will host a cadre of renowned educators and linguists, such as Dr. Paula Green of the Karuna Center for Peacebuilding, Professor Norbert Schmitt of the University of Nottingham, and Dr. Elisheva Barkon.
